Well its been almost 2 years since we started down the baby making path.We are now going for round 3 of fertility treatment. We have had all the tests and exploratory surgery, just to be told that everything is perfect. Yet here we are. No pregnancy still. I so badly want a baby. One that doesnt have to be handed back all the time, usually with snide remarks and verbal abuse attached to it. I dont want to be a part time mum. I hate it!
With going through a custody case this year and me now losing my job, we are going through another few rounds of the less expensive, less invasive procedure. We still have time to go down the IVF route, but im praying we dont have to. Ive been praying for two years. I have so many fertility talismans around me, but I feel very strongly that we will be pregnnt by the end of this year.
Hubby and I are going away next week to our calm place for some R & R. I pray it helps. This week is all about driving. My kids go to school down south so I spend 3 hours a day driving them to and from school and my treatment is in the city, in the opposite direction. My hubby has no sick or annual leave left and we cant afford for him to go without pay, so im praying my cycle will fit in with his shifts. So stressful.

This super powerful piece had images of Cleopatra and royalty running through my head, but it insisted on being named High Priestess.
The stones used in this piece are of high quality with some polished and some raw. I would even go so far as to call it organic.
The centrepiece is 1" raw Lapis Lazuli nugget with sprinkles of Pyrite. It has been wirewrapped with a goldfill wire which makes the whole pendant 1.5" in length.

I recently revamped a necklace that had been in my store for a while. It was originally made up of gorgeous bronze pearls (which i will use else where) and white fresh water pearls with the porcelain horses head.

My girlfriend (who is horse mad) had a 40th birthday and she loves pink. She the horse was wire wrapped in pink wire and the necklace was made with Rose Quartz and pink swarovski crystals. Needless to say she loved it.

This beautiful necklace has 4 of the most stunning chrysocolla beads i have ever seen. Gorgeous blues and greens wire wrapped using tarnish resistant silver wire. These are connected to sterling silver chain.

I have also used rhodium coated jump rings and clasp. Hanging from the chain is a gorgeous sterling silver, mother of pearl pendant.

Yesterday was up there as one of the best of my life. After 5 years of heartbreak, stress and tears I was finally granted joint access of my babies. I couldnt stop smiling but I wanted to cry too. Needless to say I had a headache yesterday.
It also means I rarely have to see my kiddies step mother, who is the main cause of my stress. (which means my husband and I have a better chance of having our own baby because that stress is gone).

I know ill probably have a few more weeks of that stress but then its gone forever. I can get on and enjoy my babies and my life. I just have to fins a new job now as my kids school is where they live which is a distance from my house. So I need a job down that way. The travelling is a small price to pay for more time with them.

This year ive made some promises to myself. (One of which ive already broken).
1. Im not allowed to purchase anymore books until ive read 5 off my shelf. Well ive already broken that one. I cant help it. Im a bookoholic.
2. I need to find time for myself to just read. Theres so much going on in my life that I sometimes forget about me.

Currently I work fulltime. My business has been doing well (but could do better). Tomorrow I start mediation to gain more custody of my babies (which is making my sick to the stomach, but once its all over will be a huge stress removed) and im going through a fertility programme to have another baby. That doesnt include being a wife, a mother, a pet owner, a home owner and a daughter. Whew. This is why I need some me time this year to keep my stress levels down.

Im following some new blogs that all revolve around classic fiction (which i adore) so its given me a passion to find the time to read more.

This stunning companion piece is full of high energy. The necklace consists of what I feel are very pale Amethyst chips. On first glance they look like Quartz. But they have a very subtle lilac hue. Its just beautiful.

Hanging from this is an amazing sterling silver Lithium Quartz pendant with a gentle, yet powerful energy. I have a Lithium Quartz and I love it. I feel peaceful and happy when I wear her.

This gorgeous necklace is made using 10mm round Lapis Lazuli Beads. The beads have only a very faint trace of pyrite in them, but they have a beautiful sparkle.

In between the beads are sky blue faceted glass beads. Hanging from the necklace is the most beautiful quartz point. There are so many inclusions and rainbows in this pendant. Quartz amplifies all the healing qualities of the Lapis.

The clasp is a sterling silver parrot clasp and dangling from that is my very tiny signature, monogramed heart charm - GRC.

The whole piece measures 27cms from the clasp to the tip of the pendant. (54cms from clasp to clasp).
